Maestra Group returned to provide a complete technical solution to the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saeed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan (SMK) Emeriti Ladies Tennis Tournament in Abu Dhabi for the fourth consecutive year.

Central to this year’s event was an impressive 20m x 11m 10mm outdoor LED video wall provided by Maestra and run on the new Dataton 6 Watchout servers which were linked with Hawk-Eye Innovations software to provide real-time game feedback, analysis and results to spectators.

This year Maestra supported the client's creative team in creating a custom light show that utilised over 100 moving light fixtures. In particular were Maestra's new stock of Clay Paky Mythos 2 and SGM P5's. Control for the entire show was 'blind' and relied on a female show-caller provided by Maestra. The lighting was pre-designed and operated using a WYSIWYG solution from inside the control room. Maestra installed a Meyer Mica Line Array System and Meyer 700-HP Subwoofers controlled through a Galileo 616 Digital Processor and Yamaha QL1 at Front of House.

Maestra provided a team of 6 video, lighting, audio and show management crew throughout January to manage the production.
