Maestra Group is an award winning global event design and technical production company with offices in both London and Dubai. We are currently looking for a full time Sub Hire Coordinator to join our team in London. You will mainly be working in our warehouse in Woolwich Arsenal.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • The management and booking of technical equipment for projects and dry hires including dry hires by sister company Wireless lighting.
  • Assisting with the purchasing and management of stock.
  • Organising the resale and replacement of aging stock with support from management.
  • Working with the Warehouse Manager to ensure processes and logistics are thorough.
  • Developing rigorous procedures and protocols to further enhance efficiency and standards of the technical department.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our stockholding as well as relationships with dry hire suppliers.
  • PMSE ordering & management of radio frequencies.
  • Supporting management in ad hoc duties including support of the Operations department.

Essential Skills

  •  Knowledge and experience of lighting, sound, video, staging and set.
  • Experience with hire tracking software.
  • Good IT knowledge including both Mac and PC computers.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a ‘can do’ and flexible attitude.
  • Strong team player as well as driven and content to work alone with great communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service with a polite and accommodating approach.
  • Full, clean, UK driving license.

Desirable Skills

  • On-site experience as a technician or similar (i.e. stage management)
  • Qualification related to AV, live events and/or theatre production.
  • IPAF qualification.
  • Experience managing a warehouse and/or onsite management.
  • Scheduling, transport/logistics experience.
  • First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Health and Safety management experience.

Experience:

  • Event Industry - 2 years required
  • Technical Production (lighting/sound/video -: 1 year required

Salary: Competitive depending on experience.
